Naval Fleet Command Released a Press Release Explaining the Matter of “Four-legged Beast Appeared in the Strongest Kidd-class Destroyer of Navy, Navy Conducts Serious Investigation and Reliefs Ranks”. (June 9th, 2019)

Regarding the media coverage of “Four-legged Beast Appeared in the Strongest Kidd-class Destroyer of Navy, Navy Conducts Serious Investigation and Reliefs Ranks”, the Naval Fleet Command has stated today (9th) that the unit initiated administrative investigation immediately upon grasping on information about the indecent video being circulated on the internet that was suspected to be filmed on a certain warship, and convened a personnel evaluation committee according to the investigation result. As the suspected soldiers have violated “Gender Social Standing” and “Implementation Regulations for the Maintenance of Military Discipline for the Armed Forces”, they were respectively relived of their ranks, received two demerits, and removed from the military; in addition, the unit cadres were also reviewed for their negligence.

    The Naval Fleet Command emphasized that it implements the policy of “Clear Stream” and upholds the principal of “The Innocents Will Not Be Wronged, and the Guilty Will Be Severely Punished”, hence all major violators will be severely punished and removed from the military with no quarter given once being confirmed to be true, and the neglected cadres will also bear relevant responsibility in order to maintain military discipline. The command will use this incident as an example to continue to implement education on military discipline, as well as reinforce internal management to avoid similar incident from occurring again in the future.
